An attention to detail, a command of the English language, and a knack for meeting deadlines are the essential qualities of any good copy editor.

But what if that copy editor is also a QA tester who knows front-end web development?

Add the ability to coordinate activities, prioritize tasks, and work well with others as part of a team and you have a publishing professional who will have a positive impact. I have successfully demonstrated these skills and would like to put them to work for you.

I have worked for some of the leading publishing houses in New York. Throughout my career I have established and maintained an excellent rapport with my colleagues, proven my ability to handle difficult assignments simultaneously under demanding pressure, and shown a willingness to work extra hours when necessary to get the job done right and on time.

In addition to copyediting the print and digital versions of educational books, I've also reviewed the alpha version of an online educational program and conducted QA testing of an e-learning application.

To expand my knowledge of digital publishing, I completed a 16-week certificate program in web design, learning front-end web development with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and jQuery. That's how I learned to build this website.

My resume further illustrates that I have the necessary skills and experience to make a meaningful contribution at your publishing house or edtech company.
